Each project is unique. In most cases the client drives the direction. In others, clients will hand over the reins. The most important outcome is the client is happy with end results. Design is an art form, essentially a three-dimensional canvas if you will. Similar as the feels you get from gazing at artwork, you get a feeling when you enter a space. It can be cozy, relaxing, sensual, electrifying, or may even transport you to a different time or place. The size of the space, paired with the layering effect of materials, textures, patterns, pushing the limits of proportion and scale, using the effect of juxtaposition, all have a place as they work together to create the feeling you have when you enter. |
